DormCircle is a hostel management software, school management solution and parent communication app built in Guwahati, Assam. We exist to modernise the way residential schools across Northeast India manage hostel operations and communicate with parents.

Our mission is to be the most trusted hostel management software partner for boarding schools in Assam — transforming the student living experience with seamless, intelligent, and insightful communication.

The Problem We Solve

In the world of premium boarding schools in Northeast India, a parent's peace of mind is the most valuable asset. We founded DormCircle because we saw a critical communication gap that no existing school management software was solving.

School administrators and wardens across Assam were spending dozens of hours weekly on manual, fragmented communication — logging health data in paper registers, managing attendance in Excel sheets, and answering parent inquiries via personal WhatsApp messages. This is neither a hostel management solution nor a school management solution — it is organised chaos.

This administrative burden is inefficient for the school and creates anxiety for parents who are left without a real-time view of their child's wellbeing. Parents in Guwahati, Silchar, Jorhat, and Dibrugarh would go days without knowing if their child visited the clinic, ate their meals, or had a difficult week.

• A secure parent communication app and student hostel app that consolidates this data into a real-time view of their child's hostel life — delivered as push notifications throughout the day.
